JUDGING CRITERIA
Costumes will be judged on Accuracy, Design/Artistry, and Ambition (30% weighting) and its Construction and Technical Execution (70% weighting). The stage presentation will not be scored directly but may be taken into consideration if the stage presentation reveals flaws or benefits of the costume’s construction.
LITC reserves the right to adjust the categories or number of category awards given at any time in its sole discretion based on entries received.
The judges’ decisions are final and no further negotiation is permitted. There will however be an opportunity to request judges feedback via email.

SPORTSMANSHIP
At numerous events across the country, displays of poor or unsportsmanlike behavior have been rampant. Like any competition, some will win and others will not. Any and all displays of Poor Sportsmanship will not be tolerated, be it online or in person. This includes but is not limited to bullying, harassing, slandering, attacking, or otherwise questioning the integrity of other competitors, judges, or LITC staff.
Any contestant found displaying unsportsmanlike conduct will be banned from future Cosplay Championships and stripped of their title(s) if applicable.
Feedback from judges will be available upon request via email at cosplaydirector@gmail.com. The event itself is not the time or place to contest the outcome of the competition or blame the judges for your loss. You may ask for constructive criticism and feedback, however, it is a relatively one way conversation not intended for personal feedback directed at the judges or con staff.

AI-GENERATED CONTENT

LITC does not support the usage of generative AI. Using AI for reference images, designs, patterns, etc. is not permitted and will result in disqualification. NO EXCEPTIONS.
